About Our Pastor and First Lady
Pastor Clarence Washington is a graduate of Luther Rice Seminary, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies. He has served as the pastor of this church for twenty-five years and has a total of thirty-five years of pastoral leadership experience.
Additionally, Pastor Washington is the author of the following seven books: Tools for Effective Prayer: The Mechanics, Dynamics and Contents of Prayer; Victory Every Day in Every Way: Kingdom Living According to Nehemiah the Governor; Hijacked!: How Dr. King’s Dream Became a Nightmare—vol. 1, The Dream; vol. 2, The Hijack; vol. 3, The Nightmare; vol. 4, The Recovery; and vol. 5, The Demonic.

Pastor Clarence Washington is also a graduate of DeVry Institute of Technology, Chicago, Illinois (his hometown), with a degree in electronic engineering technology; retired with thirty-plus years of experience in the field of engineering and science.

THE FIRST LADY’S CORNER
First Lady Janice Elaine Washington is a graduate of UNM via Denver University, with a Bachelor’s of Art in Speech Communications. She has served in the positions of Choir Director, Church Pianist, and Minister of Music since she was nine years old, which is the current position in which she now serves in addition to her other duties as First Lady.
The First Lady heads the Women’s Connection ministry, publishes the weekly church newsletter, and is actively involved in our youth and community outreach ministries.
Moreover, First Lady Janice is a highly sought-after speaker in which she uses this platform to encourage other women in their daily lives and service to the Lord.
The First Lady is a native of Albuquerque, graduate of Manzano High School, and retired from Sandia National Labs with 21 years as a secretary.
